Terasaki Budokan will host the Collective Action for Resource Equity (CARE) Fair on July 20 from 12 to 3 pm. The event is hosted in partnership with Little Tokyo Service Center, Wesley Health Centers, Jason Markk, Nikkei Progressives, School on Wheels, and the Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation. The CARE Fair is an initiative to bring resource equity to Little Tokyo and surrounding communities.

“As a community center, our job is to listen and respond to the needs of our neighborhood in meaningful ways,” said director of Terasaki Budokan Ryan Lee. “So hosting this CARE Fair to encourage physical and mental health and wellness in our community was an easy choice. But we didn’t do it alone; thanks to the help of our partners, we were able to provide more than we could have ever hoped for.”

The event will provide free resources and services, including health services, vaccines, shoes, and food for unhoused or low-income individuals in the Little Tokyo area.

Volunteer sign-ups are now closed, but if you are interested in getting involved next year, please contact Terasaki Budokan by clicking on this link: here!
